Moving away from your country of origin can take a toll on your well-being, the loneliness and depression that can occur during your time abroad, and the feelings of being lost and struggling to make ex-pat life work for you.

You may have returned home to your country of origin, to realize life wouldn’t be as you’d imagined it to be. If you are an expat who is struggling right now, you’re not alone.

I am both a therapist and an ex-pat. I grew up in Canada, America and England, before living in China, Thailand and currently Saudi Arabia as an adult. I know how hard living abroad can be, there are great times, fun and full of adventure but there are also times full of guilt, confusion and loneliness.

In times of difficulty, I know it is hard to lean on a newly formed friendship groups or a partner. That is why I work to make you feel seen and heard. I want you to feel comfortable sharing your journey with me and to know there is nothing wrong with you for struggling.
